After last years success our annual Summer Fête was again held at Shanklin Cricket Club.
The weather was just right for such an event.
All involved met early to erect the gazeboes, set up the stalls and prepare
the tables and chairs for the afternoon teas.

A large crowd turned up to watch the the Dog Obedience Display Group Shanklin
and the excellent Gillian Cartwright Dancers.

There was much to buy from the stalls and everyone enjoyed their afternoon tea and cakes.  

Many thanks to Shanklin Cricket Club for the use of their ground and facilities and to all who helped
and took part in making this year’s event such a success.
