This event was a real team effort and one that St Blasius should be very proud of.
Over two days the church gradually filled with impressive floral displays produced
by our talented
ladies and gentleman. The standard and ingenuity of each one was
the result of much time, thought and work.
The efforts were justly rewarded by the
comments of the many appreciative visitors.
It was not just the flowers which made the event a success and thanks must go to
those who worked so hard with the publicity, stewarding, sound system, plant stall
and generally were on hand to fix things, move objects or construct items.
The catering
team was like a well-
All tasks were undertaken with enthusiasm and good humour and the long weekend was
a most enjoyable experience-
a chance to show off our lovely church as well as our
welcoming and talented congregation. Well done, St Blasius.
Our thanks to all the many visitors who came and supported our festival making it such a great success.
