St Blasius Church Choir 2011

The choir has made great progress during the past year. We have managed to find a time in the week for a regular practice. This has resulted in our being able to sing simple anthems which are much appreciated by the congregation.

We also have started a “probationary” group who are keen to learn how to sing and to understand more about music in general.

Several members are working towards their first level award in the R.S.C.M. “Voice for Life” course. This level has recently been achieved by our youngest member Alice, who now proudly wears the medal with its light blue ribbon.

Our big problem is that we are “bass-less” at present. Is there anyone out there willing to have a go? Special tuition is available to train anyone interested. We have, at present, one young man in training

Mary Dalladay Choir Mistress.
